Describe the solution you'd like?

Its nice that you push updates so often, but the app is becoming frustrating to use when every time that I open the terminal it blasts 50% of the view with "Whats new" when im not interested about it, but actually using the terminal.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

The thing is, it never opens at an appropriate time - when I'm trying to get work done I don't want to be distracted by something else. I don't think an "option to disable" the feature is the right approach here. The whats new dialog is a bug that should be fixed by removing it entierly.

If you want to tell me about new features, let me sign up to a newsletter or something.

Please provide an option to disable it or display it in a separate window instead of shrinking the terminal window, which makes it difficult or impossible to use. Additionally, receiving updates through a newsletter would be a good alternative, considering the frequent updates and the fact that many of them are tailored to specific use cases or users.

How about this? Only display the "What's New?" once, after every update?
We don't need to see the changelog every time we open warp.

I'm very close to just uninstalling, I don't want to look at Warp Essentials anymore.

Is the "Show changelog after updates" setting not working (or maybe just not discoverable)?

How long has that feature been there? I didn't know until now.

But really I think the root complaint here is that the current changelog is a bad user experience. I'd prefer to have it simply be removed and replaced with an option to sign up for email notifications whenever a new blog post is written (which might not necessarily be aligned to app updates).

If there's a minor bug or change I'm waiting for, I'll keep an eye on it here in GitHub.

definitely not discoverable enough. maybe show a little toggle to "deactivate changelog after updates" the first 2 times when auto-opening the changelog
