According to this StackOverflow:

@advance512 in my case, I solved it be modifying the library and adding timeouts everywhere when it starts HTTP connections.

Will investigate if there's an update to twisted or urllib or scrapy that will fix this, or if we'll have to do this workaround ourselves.
