Some non-virtual displays apparently have a changing CGDirectDisplayID on some configs even if they are connected to the same port - #112 (comment) .
As it is with Virtual Display (#100 (comment)), there should be a setting for alternate display binding that does not use the Display ID which does not seem to be as stable on some configs as it should be.

Hi @JosephTico can you help me out - what Mac are you using and what port? The issue seems to affect the MacBook Pros only so far afaik, but I am not entierly sure. Also: #249

I'm using a 2021 MBP 14". I'm using a dock, my monitor is connected through the Thunderbolt passthrough and finally through a TB to DP cable.
