SDR peak brightness adjustment is available in macOS Sequoia and newer. With this enabled, the app deals with the third party HDR display like it would on macOS Sonoma or earlier. The user can still use the Control Center for SDR peak brightness adjustment. This is mostly useful to force the display's brightness/upscaling slider to work like it used to be if that's what the user wants.
