Dummy uses overlay dimming while the mirrored screen uses colortable based dimming - the two effects should not be applied at the same time. Only the mirror target real screen(s) should be affected, unless they are all virtual screens (like DisplayLink or iPad).

(+ there could be an option to specify how dummy brightness control works in relation to PIP windows, streams and mirroring)

What to do is:

  • Keyboard control should not affect dummy screens directly (direct overlay dimming is still possible via menu slider).
  • When the mouse (or focused window if this option is enabled) is on a dummy display, in case of mirroring and full screen streaming the target screen(s) should be dimmed when colortable based and/or hardware dimming is available.
