We appreciate your report. Based on what you described, the issue can be reproduced on other browsers and it is not a Compatibility issue. The action buttons for the video are auto-hidden.

For this project, we try to focus our effort on layouts, features, or content of the page that works as expected in one browser but not in another.

Tested with:

Browser / Version: Firefox Release 113.1.0 (2015950739-🦎113.0.1-20230511191846🦎)/ Chrome Mobile Version 113.0.5672.132
Operating System: Samsung A51 (Android 11) -1080 × 2400 pixels 20:9 aspect ratio (~405 ppi density)
Operating System: Google Pixel 3 (Android 12) -1080 x 2160 pixels, 18:9 ratio (~443 ppi density)

Closing this as Non-compat.

No, you misunderstood, this is not hiding the system buttons, this is just crawling them abroad!
Something is not playing on that site, here's a new one from which the picture was taken!

@Spok1 For the first submitted URL, fullscreen mode is shown in vertical mode. For the second video, when fullscreen is shown in horizontal mode, the buttons are hidden and shown as expected:
