Thanks for the report @Daplugg23 , I was to reproduce the issue.

Note:

  1. The issue is not reproducible on Chrome
  2. The issue is reproducible on Firefox Nightly regardless if ETP is enabled or not.
  3. The issue is reproducible also from download triggered popups URL: https://www.datpiff.com/Nino-Man-Hungry-For-Success-3-mixtape.982014.html

Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 81.0a1 (2020-08-05)
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro

Moving to Needsdiagnosis for further investigation.

This is caused by blocking mixed content downloads change in Nightly. Looks like the download fails because the file is located on an insecure resource:

There is a tracking bug for these issues https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1654139
We can contact the site, or wait until there is an improvement to the user experience (notifying a user about insecure download, instead of just silently fail).
