Description: bad performance
Steps to Reproduce:
Bad performance on firefox compared with chrome. Also some webgl sites are running with higher fps than in ff.

Thanks for the report, I was able to reproduce the issue. The animation is not smooth on Firefox, compared to Chrome.

I've recorded a performance profile.
profile.zip

Tested with:
Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 86.0a1 (2020-12-20)
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro

Moving to Needsdiagnosis for further investigation.
