Thanks for the report.

I was indeed able to reproduce the issue. The fish animation is very slow in Firefox.

Tested with:
Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 201229(🦎 86.0a1-20201225095506), Chrome Mobile 87.0.4280.101
Operating System: OnePlus6 (Android 10) - 1080 x 2280 pixels (~402 ppi pixel density)

Moving the issue to needsdiagnosis.

hmm it's not that clear.

On Desktop Firefox Nightly 86.0a1 (2021-01-03) (64-bit)
I have mostly 60 fps in Firefox too.
I tried in blink (Edge) And I also have slow motions time to time and speed.

on the pixel 2, Android 11, I get

  • 50fps in landscape mode
  • 14 fps in portrait mode.

That's… interesting 🙄

On Chrome Canary Android 11 I get 60 fps consistently on landscape and portrait.
I'll open an issue on bugzilla.
