URL: https://web.whatsapp.com
Browser / Version: Firefox 54.0
Operating System: Windows 7
Problem type: Something else - I'll add details below

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to: https://web/whatsapp.com

Expected Behavior:
Smooth navigation
Actual Behavior:
Almost unusable. Extremely slow, and bogs down all firefox tabs.

I can run traces and potentially a profiler if needs be. I just need instructions on how-to.

There's been a few reports of this lately, #7458 being one of them. I haven't noticed any severe issues with it myself.
