We appreciate your report. I was able to reproduce the issue. Accessing a mail from a business account presents issues with the logo:

Screenshot at Oct 08 18-09-19

Tested with:

Browser / Version:Firefox Nightly 95.0a1 (2021-10-07) (64-bit)/Firefox Beta 94.0b2 (64-bit)/ Chrome Version 94.0.4606.71 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Operating System: Mac OSX 10.15.6

Notes:

  1. Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP
  2. Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly
  3. Works as expected using Chrome

Moving this to NeedsDiagnosis for further investigations.

@karlcow I've rechecked with a clean profile . For me, the issue is reproducible on other devices as well:

Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64

@softvision-raul-bucata where did you get that logo from?

@karlcow The logo should be displayed when accessing a business account in Gmail- in my case my work (Mozilla) email service , which is displayed as expected using Chrome, but not on the latest build of Firefox Nightly, on both macOS and Windows devices. Instead of the company logo being displayed, the blurred line is being presented. This has been observed with another company email logo when accessing a business Gmail account

I also can't reproduce this; I wonder if the image is being blocked, so GMail is falling back on the wavy line? @softvision-raul-bucata , if you right-click on the wavy line and inspect it in the devtools, what URL does the image have? In my case with the Mozilla logo case, it's just an img with a src of https://admin.google.com/u/0/ac/images/logo.gif with a specific uid parameter.

After updating the browser to the latest version -Firefox Nightly 95.0a1 (2021-10-14), on both Mac and Windows, for me, it seems to be an ETP issue now.

With STRICT I get the reported result- broken logo- an img with a src of https://www.gstatic.com/images/icons/material/syste/1x/broken_image_grey600_18dp.png

With STANDARD I get the expected result- actual logo- an img with a src of https://admin.google.com/u/0/ac/images/logo/gif?uid=117238952205309608504&service=google_gsuite

Both with a clean, fresh profile.

@wisniewskit If this is confirmed, I will gladly submit an ETP issue on Bugzilla
