I know the Wiki says not to, but whats the issue behind putting it in The network port bay?

i figure its fast access to the usb port for any mods required to the pico itself.

i believe it's both an issue with wire length and also blocking the network port area for other future mods such as the m.2 loader

Sorry for super late reply. @marl64 got it right. I don't think having to unscrew 4 screws is worth limiting yourself from using better storage medium in the future. Some people who chose this location experienced interference issues due to cables being too long.

i Opted for doing the fan location with 3d printed mount. :)
