CAFF - Common Asset File Format

Uses

Allows vehicle editing and importing, custom textures, resizing of CAFF data sections, model swaps, and music extraction in .xwb format. Has a variety of uses primarily for automating file asset viewing and extraction in nuts and bolts. Perfect for modding, but buggy. Make back ups as needed!

Tag viewer

allows tags to be seen and ready for modding

Search feature and texture viewer

search for any assets as necessary and view all textures supporting formats 0x52 and 0x53

Multi-CAFF support (bundle/50)

multi CAFF are any files in bundle/50. They are multiple CAFF files packed into one large asset. They are moddable as well

Music Extractor (bundle/50/685374)

music formats in .xwb. Requires xmash and towave to decode and listen

Mod vehicle crate contents

located in bundle/50/685374. 0x00 part count 0x04 part ident

Vehicle editor and importer (change the showdown town trolley)

allows custom save vehicles to be imported to ai and/or ingame vehicles (make sure you edit the player seat to the ai seat if doing ai's vehicles)

Any modified data over original size will automatically resize data section

for instance, importing vehicles larger than the section will automatically resize

Model swapping

model swaps are now possible with a simple drop down and obtaining assets from within the file
