Bug: Board templates aren't created automatically whenever the user was created by REST API or OAuth2

Hi Guys,

we are using wekan for a short while now. And we are trying to Set up our Boards correctly.
So we created some templates, but when we create a new board and try to click on the templates, we can click on the templates but nothing happens. Did you have the issue before? I did not find anything about it.

We are running wekan on OpenSuse Leap 15 with snap and mongodb.

What version of Wekan you have?

sudo snap list

You can update to newest with:

sudo snap refresh

Extra bug:
template shows multiple labels but when added to the board only 1 appears.

Template works on board:
I was having the same issue, but on a computer I used I clicked template, typed the title I wanted to call the new card and then clicked on the template and it added it. I haven't had opportunity to test again on other computers. Not sure if it needs specific instructions on how to use this function, as to get it to work previously I had to drag the template to the title.

I read this page, but boards template and card template are not visible.
I install wekan with docker method on Debian Stretch
Wekan Version | 3.41.0
Meteor : 1.8.1
Node : 8.16.1
Mongodb 3.2.21

I create Board Template, list template and card template.
But only lists template are shown.

List templates are ok :

But no board template

And no more card template

Wekan Used on Firefox 69 - 64bits under Linux

Yes, there is a problem.
I can see list template.
But I cannot see card template or board template, like you can see in my screenshots.

In the doc page, the 5 point is empty for boards and cards.

Hello, You have to create a card in any list of the baords/cards templates to actually create the template. In the case of boards, it will create a new board, and a card linked to the template board. Does that works for you? Andres.

Sorry, I made a mistake. I choose the URL with https in the docker-compose.yml and this seems to be ok.
I add cards to each template, and I see its when I try to create a new board, or card.
Can I create a complete board and add it with all lists and cards added like the template ?

I create a new board template with list and card associated named "modeleSI Template" and I don't see it in the search menu "no TODO or Francois, Marion, Fatou...".
How can I repeat this template in a new board ?

You need to go inside your card `card-board1` for example, and create the board structure in there. Then when you select the template from the drop-down, you'll have a new board with that structure. I am not sure what is modeleSI Templates..

ok, I understand. The Board template is shown like a list.
I create "modeleSI Templates" by clicking on "+" on Board Template line and choose "Add a swimlane below". I thought that it was a new "board template".
But I don't understand what it could be a new "swimlane" in the Board templates which no-one can use it.

When you do that, a + on Templates board, you create a template swimlane. You will see those when clicking on the Add Swimlane button within a board.

This is interesting. Is it possible to have a card template be available for all users who are members of the board? Card templates that are individual to users are fairly pointless when the point of a kanban board is to work in a group with the same consistency among all users.
