read_text_from_image

Using pytesseract to read text from dark background image and also chinese text from image with python

Installation required :

1. Install tesseract-OCR https://github.com/UB-Mannheim/tesseract/wiki
2. pip install pyautogui opencv-python pytesseract unidecode

To read from normal text or text in dark background :

1. Copy "test_pytesseract.png" and "read_text_darkbg_image.py" into same folder
2. python read_text_darkbg_image.py

To read from chinese :

1. Copy "chinese.png" and "read_chinese_text.py" into same folder
2. python read_chinese_text.py
