This release adds support for Android devices.

It is in alpha only, and supports touch-screen overlays for navigation and play, with some vibrate support.

There are no game settings yet to disable the vibrate functionality.

  • Added reverb effects to the game sounds
  • Build the windows version against Love 0.9.2. This seems to resolve frame-rate issues which the previous build had.

  • Faster flipper movement. Now we are playing!
  • Get more points when hitting targets and completing missions.
  • A better layout: the ramps are now symmetrical, more fluid play.
  • Highlight the status bar while the ball saver (safe mode) is on.
  • Music! Thanks goes to Beyond for the theme song "Supernova Explosion"!
  • Music controls on the pause screen, including a separate volume control.
  • Bug fix: Reset tilt on first launch. If the previous game ended on Tilt it would carry over to the new game.

Changes in this version:

  • Balance the left and right ramp angles. Play feels more fluid now with both ramps being equal in size.
    Reduce the Fusion mission wait times.
  • Activate ball Safe Mode on first launch (Safe mode is a 30 second grace period where a free ball is given on a drain)
  • Activate safe mode during the wormhole mission.
  • Fix a bug where a tilt did not reset on a drain if Safe Mode is on.
  • Optimization: Pre-draw walls onto a canvas.
  • Replace the slingshot indicator lights with flashing chevrons.
  • Reworked the table to be less tall. It is now easier to reach the top targets.
  • Add a rate limiter of 60 fps.

Changes:

  • Space flippers apart. The ball can now fall through the gap between the flippers.
  • Space the top bumpers down, and out. There is more movement between the bumpers and the word targets.
  • Make the ball bounce off gates when it is slingshot up the ramps. This means after being shot up the ramps, it will bounce and fall on to different word targets, and not always the same target.
