A possible enhancement would be support for imperial units. Since there are no many places where calculations with weight data is performed, this should not need too much refactoring.

This support is more needed for the routine generator. Some of the routines
have a specific increase in weight (as opposed to a percentage or other unit
independent calculation) and having a conversion now will make things easier
in the future.

Currently, developemnt for imperial units was happening in the
feature/routine-generator branch, but is being moved out so it can
be finished independently.
