Some of the strings marked for translations are never used in the GUI (e.g. "System ingredient"), can be simplified ("Edit $object {}" --> "Edit {}") or re-worded. This should be reviewed to make translating the application faster and easier.

Clean up and simplify some translated strings

To make translating the application faster and easier for translators, the
strings used in the different views have been reduced or replaced by a generic
one.

Further reworking of translations

Consolidate the strings used (mostly) in administration views, as the action
is obvious in the context (e.g. 'add language' --> 'add'). Other cleanups
as well.
