Signal Portable Updater

This script automates the process of updating the Signal Portable application to the latest version.

• Updates Signal Portable pulling directly from signal servers.

Not Features

• Should really change the dir structure to allow update script to reside in portable apps installer. As anything in an apps root dir will not be included.
• Did not want to bundle update script with signal

Usage

1. Run the script in a PowerShell environment.
2. Follow the prompts to update Signal Portable.
3. The script will automatically download the latest version, extract it, and update the application.

Prerequisites

• PowerShell environment
• 7zip installed in the script directory (included in the provided script)
• Internet connection to download the latest version of Signal Portable

Installation

1. Download the script to your local machine.
2. Ensure that 7zip is placed in the same directory as the script.
3. Run the script in a PowerShell environment.

Known Issues

• Dishssues 100%
• May not work after any major release.
• Probably bugs all over
