Version 2.0 is a big change for W/, and has been largely discussed in this lines thread following the beta releases. Read the first few posts of that thread if you want to get your head around the big picture changes in v2.0

This specific release takes the "w20b7" forward in just 2 ways:

Loops: declicked

When looping in W/Tape (and to a lesser extent, W/Del) the click that would develop when partially erasing the tape is largely fixed. At least personally this had made the destructive-looping technique so much more fun to play with! I always assumed making this change would create clicks at the start and end of loops when playing back non-looped, but in practice there doesn't seem to be any such issues. I was stuck thinking that hours-long playback was more important than musically-lengthed loops.

Seriously though. This one change is the whole reason this release is even happening. Thanks to the person who emailed me & got me thinking about it while I was mindlessly folding shipping boxes!

ii.wsyn.transpose

Second a new ii command for W/Syn is added ii.wsyn.transpose(v8) (TBD for teletype). This command allows one to transpose all pitch information, and the setting will be saved. Specifically, this means that the transpose command also affects CV input. Save the setting to flash memory along with the W/Syn preset (via the Engine Loader page). It should be useful to a few people who had issues with the tones being out of tune with other synthesizers. Of course it can also be used creatively, as it will only affect new notes, not already playing ones.

This will require a new crow firmware scheduled for sometime later this year.

Zip

Not a feature of the firmware, but simply a note that now we are bundling the firmware audio file along with instructions for updating the firmware.
