New restrictions causing API to fail

I've only started working with this awesome tool you've built for a few days. At the beginning of the week it worked perfectly. But yesterday I started receiving an error:
{"code":2,"desc":"Failed to fetch from Instagram.","info":"encountered: SyntaxError: Unexpected end of JSON inputfetched:"}

This is happening on the demo as well, so my feelings are that it has to do with further restrictions IG has put in place.

I'm going to be working on a fix, and I just wanted to start the discussion as to coding a workaround for this. If anyone else more experienced can point me in the right direction, please go for it. :-)
