Installation

To install and run Wick Locker on your system, follow these steps:

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/wickstudio/wick-locker.git
   

2. Navigate to the project directory:

   cd wick-locker
   

3. Install the required dependencies:

   pip install -r requirements.txt
   

4. Run the application:

   python main.py
   

Usage

Using Wick Locker is straightforward and intuitive. Here's a quick guide on how to use the application:

1. Launch Wick Locker by running the main.py file.

2. The main window will display a list of your currently locked items.

3. To add a passcode to a file, folder, or app:

   • Click the "Add Passcode" button.
   • Choose the type of item you want to lock (File or Folder/App).
   • Select the desired item using the file dialog.
   • Enter a passcode for the item and confirm.

4. To remove a passcode from an item:

   • Select the item from the list of locked items.
   • Click the "Remove Passcode" button.
   • Enter the correct passcode to remove the lock.

5. To reset a forgotten passcode:

   • Select the item from the list of locked items.
   • Click the "Reset Passcode" button.
   • Enter the master password ("WickLocker") to authenticate.
   • Enter a new passcode for the item.

6. To unlock a locked item, simply double-click on it in the list and enter the correct passcode.
