Should be possible to customize what buttons are emulated, and possibly also
the controller sensibility.

Ken, ive tried playing even though it says Unknown and the game wont progress
with any buttons. Do you have any ideas of non emulator games i can try?

I tried it with Snesoid, the free version from Market.
Inside Snesoid, you can configure what the buttons do,
and I set it up by configuring buttons.
When the display reads "Press button now", I pressed the
button and it shows "UNKNOWN", but when I play the game it
works, and I could assign all 4 buttons.

I have not tried it with any non-emulator games, but it might be that some apps
ignore the button presses because they are "unknown".

Ok so I went into Super Mario World with on screen buttons, and I tested to see
if the analog stick worked maybe. Nope. I go into the settings for Snesoid
though, and I can scroll through the options. Cant select any of the options.
Is there something im missing?

Did you configure the buttons inside Snesoid?
You need to press "Menu", then "Settings" then "Key Mappings".
If it does not respond to button presses, go back to the "Select ROM" screen,
and click inside the text field in the upper right, that should activate the
IME, then repeat the "Menu", "Settings", "Key Mappings" steps and configure
the buttons.

I configured the buttons under key mappings. And when I do it, it says unknown,
and then fails to work. I will try your text field thing tomorrow. Btw, ive now
tried it with HTC stock and Rooted Core Droid. Analog works in the settings,
but not in game.

Very odd, I tried it on stock HTC and it worked there.
Well, the more incentive for me to start fixing this issue :).

Ive tried your default and I tried my own customization. Everything works in
settings, i even used my customizations to type letters inside the text box,
but this thing wont work in game. I doubt that the stick is defective because
outside of game the analog and buttons work.

Yes, something has changed. It appears that all key events are sent to the text
box.

You need to go to settings, other settings, and then check "use input method"
inside Snesoid.
I tried setting the buttons to literally send A,B,C,D and then configured
Snesoid to use those,
but it did not work until I checked "use input method".
