Though you've dropped all the spaces from scrollbar code in examples, they're still selectable under some arcane circumstances in Chrome. I think it's a good idea to add user-select property into scrollbar's CSS classes.

Hmm in what case does that happen? That property is in the css allready.

  • Open latest Chrome
  • Scroll to the middle
  • Mousedown on the top part
  • Mousemove to over the bottom part
  • Mousemove right

Sorry i'm unable to select any text during scrolling in chrome. Maybe im understanding you wrong...

It could be system dependent. I'm on Ubuntu 13.10. I'll try to look how to
fix this a bit later.
