This is back-port of #378 to
4.0branch with some conflicts resolved.The reason for the back-port is because the PR: #491 (has been merged) has test failures (
MixedModeServiceURLTestCase), while there are no test failures in master branch with proposed changes. This pr will fix the test failure.The changes are all test codes changes except one debug logging added in
DiscoveryEJBClientInterceptor.java.
