@yersan AFAIK removal of the solaris machine was done just as a temporary solution due to lack of building machines available. Solaris support should be put back to EAP7.2, see https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBEAP-14596. We should assure this bit is not forgotten when moving back this support. |
Just for our record, related PR: https://github.com/jbossas/wildfly-to-cd/pull/3 This PR intended to facilitate the conversions from Wildfly Community -> EAP CD -> EAP @jstourac just for your info, the license was removed in core-feature-pack-licenses.xml file for EAP CD, so regardless of whether we had removed it or not from the community stream, we had to recover it in EAP. @kabir I'm going to close this issue now since finally it was never merged, there are not any problems having the license in core-feature-pack-licenses.xml community version, although in my opinion, if we were removing the sparc support, this license should be part of that work. We can reopen it at our convenience. Having the license there does not hurt, because the dependency was removed from the feature pack and then, this license will not end up in the final distribution. Tthe removal on EAP CD could be considered even unnecessary. |
This PR follows up #3208
From the point of view of distribution created by the feature pack, the wildfly-openssl-solaris-sparcv9 is not included in the final license, but since the library was removed, it looks like it makes sense remove the license as well.
