Need an intelligent way to look inside an element and determine which tags require markdown to be returned...
Related to #9, where span tags need to be removed, here , , etc need to be replaced with the relevant **, * etc.
This can be done in the demarkdown routine which can either add further complexity to the existing demarkdown is_internal behaviour, or can simply apply some basic regex based replace() calls based on the parent tag type.
