I wouldn't call this a bug, but it may be an unexpected way this is functioning when scripting. I'm setting up scripts to install one SAN cert per site for an entire server using appcmd and LEWS. I'm getting the siteIDs from appcmd and looping through them with LEWS to install the certs. Using --hidehttps to prevent it from replacing existing SSLs results in LEWS removing the renewal info in the registry for those hidden sites. Maybe we could use an extra flag to prevent it from removing the renewals?

Actually I would call it a bug. --hidehttps is supposed to hide bindings/sites from the user in interactive mode, not hide them from the software itself.
