Notepad-plus-plus - X Error

Hi,

I've just installed Notepad-plus-plus on Ubuntu 16.04. When I run it, it seems to work fine, but if I move the window it often --- AKA NOT ALWAYS --- crashes with the following error message:

X Error of failed request:  BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
  Major opcode of failed request:  130 (MIT-SHM)
  Minor opcode of failed request:  3 (X_ShmPutImage)
  Value in failed request:  0x3a0
  Serial number of failed request:  5676
  Current serial number in output stream:  5676

Major and Minor opcode remain the same across different failures, while the rest varies.
