'you cannot see this message' when using reply for prior message happening for undeleted intact messages (seemingly) randomly

after the recent update this error intermittently shows when you quote a prior message

normally this would only happen if that message had been removed/deleted but it is happening for regular messages randomly (or so it seems)

even more oddly - if you have several clients going it may give the error on one client and not on the other

This is happening to me fairly regularly. I can still see the original messages but almost all replies to them show this error instead of the message.

yes this issue persists on desktop for windows and android - it is entirely intermittent it seems
i can't correlate it to any specific action or context of use
