Changes
Previously, we were building the file paths for images a bit naively, only taking into account basic
build.assetsconfig. This PR reworks things to work with more complex settings, sub-directories etc. Additionally, as the logic there is a little bit complex, this PR adds a few comments.Fixes #8739
