This repository contains automatically generated versions of Ludwig Wittgenstein's works in different file formats, such as Markdown (.md), ebooks (.epub and .mobi) and PDFs (.pdf), based on the public domain editions provided by the Ludwig Wittgenstein Project.
The works by Wittgenstein that are provided here include both originals (most in German, some in English) as well as translations, which are periodically generated based on the HTML transcriptions available on the LWP website.
The following file formats are provided:
- .md files in the Pandoc Markdown markup language
- .epub files, for most non-Kindle ebook readers
- .mobi files, for Kindle ebook readers
- .pdf files with page numbers, suitable for printing
The scripts and any code used to generate the files are released under the MIT License. All versions of Wittgenstein's works are released under the same license as the original versions on the Ludwig Wittgenstein Project website, see each individual file for further information.
