Dialogs of standard bootstrapper are not DPI-aware #3920
Comments
|
Do you plan implementing this in WiX 3.x or 4.x release? |
Bug is open in v3.x which means it's waiting for someone to step up and declare interest to fix it in a particular WiX v3 release. |
+1 if it goes into v4 first. |

I can only specify device pixels in the theme files for the standard bootstrapper. The dialogs and fonts will be too small on computers with more than 96 dpi. The standard bootstrapper does not mark itself as DPI-aware. With 144 dpi or more, the dialogs are scaled, but become blurry because of DPI-virtualization.
