I would like to use this library to create some GUI apps on the Raspberry PI, but OpenGL3 is not supported.
Do you think it will be a lot of effort to try and rebuild using OpenGLES2?

Probably it will be quite a bit of effort -- I fear you're on your own, this is really something I cannot support here on github.
