From shikokuchuo/mirai#63 (comment), this may no longer be necessary in the development versions of nanonext and mirai.

Nope, we always need to relaunch backlogged workers, c.f. shikokuchuo/mirai#95. Fortunately, the assigned and complete statistics are cumulative this time, so it should be straightforward this time.
