Wonder Versions

There are different versions of Wonder represented as Git tags or branches you can choose from. Following is a short description of the most important ones.

Wonder 7

Wonder 7 will be compatible with WebObjects 5.4.3 and needs Java 1.6 or newer (may be changed until release). This release is scheduled for 2014 and will be focused on removal of deprecated classes, methods and components. Before updating to Wonder 7 you should check your code for deprecation warnings. Additionally a migration guide will be published for necessary code changes.


Wonder 6

Wonder 6 is compatible with WebObjects 5.4.3 only and needs Java 1.5 or newer. (For WebObjects 5.3.3 support choose the Wonder 5 Legacy version)

The current version is 6.1 (25 April 2013).

Wonder 5

Wonder 5 is compatible with WebObjects 5.3.3 and WebObjects 5.4.3 and needs Java 1.5 or newer.

The current version is 5.8.2 (2 December 2012).
The corresponding Git branch is wonder_5.

Wonder 5 Legacy

Wonder 5 Legacy is compatible with WebObjects 5.3.3 only. You should consider upgrading to Wonder 6 and WebObjects 5.4.3.

The corresponding Git branch is Wonder_5_0_0_Legacy.
