A "hidden gem" is defined as a high-quality game (hence the "gem") which only got little attention (hence "hidden").

Game scoring

The score of a game is defined as the product of:

• a quality measure (its Wilson score, or a Bayesian average score),
• a decreasing function of a popularity measure (its number of players, owners, or reviews).

Rankings

Here are rankings based on the Wilson score:

• with popularity assessed by the number of reviews,
• with popularity assessed by the number of owners.

Here are rankings based on the Bayesian average score:

• with popularity assessed by the number of reviews,
• with popularity assessed by the number of owners.
