Product attribute terms not in numeric order

Prerequisites

• I have carried out troubleshooting steps and I believe I have found a bug.
• I have searched for similar bugs in both open and closed issues and cannot find a duplicate.

Describe the bug

I've set the product attribute 'Size' to show the terms in numeric order, and in the dashboard they appear correctly, like so:

('0' being a temporary placeholder for when no size is given).

On the user-facing site, though, the terms render in almost numeric order, save for the term '8', which appears at the end for some reason:

Expected behavior

The product attribute terms should be in numeric order.

Actual behavior

The product attribute terms are not in numeric order.

Steps to reproduce

I am not sure how to reliably reproduce this, as other widgets seem to display in order, but as a starting point I would suggest setting up product attribute terms as above.

Isolating the problem

• I have deactivated other plugins and confirmed this bug occurs when only WooCommerce plugin is active.
• This bug happens with a default WordPress theme active, or Storefront.
• I can reproduce this bug consistently using the steps above.
