- Launch Visual Studio Code.
- Go to the Extensions view (Ctrl+Shift+X) and search for "Nextjs Pathfinder".
- Click the "Install" button next to the "Nextjs Pathfinder" extension.
- Once installed, the extension will be ready to use.
- Open a Nextjs project in Visual Studio Code.
- Right-click on a file or select a portion of code containing the desired pathname string.
- Choose the "Find and Open Files by Pathname" option from the context menu. Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut (Cmd+Alt+N).
- Nextjs Pathfinder will search for files matching the specified pathname string within the project.
- A Quick Pick menu will appear with the list of matching files.
- Select a file from the list to open it in the editor.
Nextjs Pathfinder does not require any configuration. It automatically works within your Nextjs projects.
