You may have more transitions in the works but one that I think would be useful is a vertical slide. This would be a nice alternative to the horizontal slide you already have in place. Food for thought.

I've gotten the slider to go up and down vertically as expected. Now I just need to figure out how to make the height responsive, which is the point of the slider :).

Right now, it seems I have to provide a height for the .flexslider via CSS otherwise only the first slide shows. Adding in the height via CSS then is not being resized with the browser. I'm sure there is some jquery to handle that... just have to figure it out :) I'm not a jQuery/JS guru by any means.

I tend to hit the "Comment and close" button a lot on GitHub instead of "Comment"... arr.

You are right. Vertical animation is high on my list, but the list seems to keep growing and growing.

After I release FlexSlider Demos, I will be focusing back on the plugin itself and this will be one of the first few things I tackle.

Vertical Slide has been implemented as of version 1.8. :)
