Fix shortcode-ui post_select field not showing initial post list #786

After upgrading to 0.7.3 we seem to have lost the ability of having an initial post list in 'post_select' fields. Any known workarounds for this?

Steps to reproduce (on Google Chrome 63.0.3239.84):

Create a 'post_select' field.
Open the field.

What was expected to happen:

Like we had in <= 0.7.0 a list of the most recent posts should appear.

What happened instead:

It just says 'Please enter 1 or more characters'.
