Water_Meter_Reading_Recognition

The project is divided into three parts as following:

• Preprocess: Find the location of the ROI
• Segmentation: Divide the squence of numbers into single one
• Recognition: Identify each single number

• Using UNet

Segmentation

• Simply divided by the distribution of pixels

Recognition

• Method 1: based on template matching
• Method 2: based on CNN
• Method 3: based on capsule networks SOTA！！！
• NOTE: All methods works to single digit recognition
