The Lite version of Quick Cache does not clear the Home Page cache when publishing or editing a post. This results in a stale Home Page and requires manually pressing the "Clear Cache" button after publishing a post. (Quick Cache Pro automatically detects when the Home Page cache needs to be cleared and clears it when publishing or editing a post.)

There should be an option in Quick Cache Lite that gives users the option to automatically clear the entire cache upon publishing or editing a post/page, so they don't need to manually press "Clear Cache" each time. This won't be as efficient as the way Quick Cache Pro handles it (clearing just the Home Page cache instead of clearing the entire cache) but it's a compromise that we should allow users of the Lite version to choose if they want to.

Keeping an eye on this issue, it would be very comfortable when solved!

The latest release, v131224, fixes this issue:

New Lite Enhancement. The Home Page cache and Posts Page cache are now automatically purged when necessary (such as when a new post is published).
