Keep getting a timeout error every time I try to start a recording

Steps to reproduce

Open Kap, try to start a recording

Current behaviour

Recording doesn't start and after 5 seconds or so:

Recording error
Error: Could not start recording within 5 seconds
    at Timeout._onTimeout (/Applications/Kap.app/Contents/Resources/app.asar/node_modules/aperture/index.js:132:19)

Expected behaviour

Should just work

Downgrading to v3.4.2 solved it for me.
