No sound on macOS Catalina 10.15.2 (19C57)

Hi There,

I installed your app today, curious to see what this software can do for me. The interface ist great and it seems to be easy to record. But one thing doesn't work is recoding audio - I tried every little corner on my mac and in the settings / interface of the software - including the new security features from the mac system settings. But I can't find anything to add, to change, etc. to record audio.

I'm not sure if this is wanted to be not existing, based on MVP reasons - but It doesn't work and I don't want to do the audio separate and mix it together afterwards.

Is this a bug or just not planned to be working right now?

Just to confirm a few things, can you make sure Record Audio is enabled in the Kap settings and an input device is selected like below:

And then make sure that Kap shows up checked under Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy -> Microphone like below:

Hi George, thanks for your reply - even if it doesn't feel good to me saying that: but I just missed, that there's a scrollbar and additional functions I can enable / disable. Thanks for helping me, found it and got it working. Best, Martin
