Fixes for common "bugs".

First of all, use the recommended Cheat Engine version. Which is Cheat Engine 7.3. Other versions may or may not work.

The most easiest fix for most of the errors is to just restart FIFA and Cheat Engine.

  • "My antivirus says that the cheat engine is a virus"

    • Well, you have two options, either don't use the cheat table at all or add the cheat engine to exceptions. Don't ask me how to add it to exceptions, I don't know. It's different in pretty much every antivirus.

  • "Error module 'lua/main' not found"

    • It's because you didn't unziped the archive (trying to run it from the winrar level) or you have moved the FIFA22.CETrainer directly to your desktop (or any other location) without other files which are also important. Read the Getting Started again, it's covered there.

  • "Dragging and dropping cheat table into cheat engine doesn't work"

    • It just doesn't work in newest versions of the Cheat Engine. I don't know why. Use other methods to open the cheat table -> Read Getting Started

  • "Failure loading the trainer. Reason This is not a valid cheat table"

    • Install latest version of the cheat engine. The version you have isn't supported.

  • "I don't have the FIFA22.CETRAINER, but just FIFA22"

    • Probably because you have hidden file extensions in your system. It's not a problem at all

  • "I don't have the cheat engine icon near FIFA22.CETRAINER as you"

    • You didn't installed the cheat engine properly. Reinstall cheat engine.

  • "Failure determining what FIFA22.exe means"

    • This error occurs if you are not using 64bit version of the Cheat Engine. So, use "cheatengine-x86_64.exe" not "cheatengine-i386.exe" (or any other)

  • "Error:.\lua/imports/MemoryManager.lua:289: Could not find valid offset for: ScreenID"

    • For some reason Cheat Engine memory scanner doesn't work. It's very rare and I don't know any permanent fix. The only work around is to:

      • Close the game and cheat engine.
      • Download "offsets.ini" for your game version (if you got latest game version then download from folder with highest number ) from here

      • Then put the downloaded "offsets.ini" in your folder with cheat table (overwrite existing file if needed)

    • This will fix the problem only until you download next game update. Once you do that you will need to repeat the process.

  • "Creating transfer in player career mode doesn't work"

    • Make sure you don't have any pending transfer requests. Open Squad Hub -> Withdraw Transfer Request

    • After you done that simulate a few days and try to create transfer offer again
