Hmm.. I wonder. Don't remotes already have stuff mapped to |

Most remotes like mceusb have mapped Channel up/down to pageplus/minus. There might be other buttons be mapped to skipplus/minus. In particular for pvr you would expect to switch channel with channelup/down, right? Users like me wondered why those don't work anymore. Re-mapping the remotes (lircmap.xml) may have other downsides. Many users have created their own mappings. Without this change we force them to reconfigure. |

Channel up/down on e.g. mce remote stopped working after 72ae059. I noticed on pvr branch where those buttons are used to switch channels.
