@xerial tks for the awesome plugin! It would be great if one could configure whether or not to exclude the Makefile and VERSION files from the archive. I find it very useful to include both of them

Maybe some recent change removes these files. I'll check it.

it's not a recent change but stems from the original commit
https://github.com/xerial/sbt-pack/blob/develop/src/main/scala/xerial/sbt/PackArchive.scala#L38

In sbt-pack 0.7.1, these files will be included in the generated archive.
