There are a few issues here - firstly widgets don't appear to respond to updates that are made in the Layout designer.

  • Widget updates in the Layout Designer are cached too long

Secondly, Widgets updating from external sources aren't working correctly - such as DataSet Ticker/View and Notification View

  • getModifiedDate is misnamed on some Widgets.
