Debugging

I'm happy to report that LiteMount is still working correctly, for me and I assume the other thousands of people who are using it and are quick to tell me when it isn't. So whatever is happening seems to be just for you (I don't think it's your fault though, that sounds mean).

If LiteMount isn't working for you, there are a few things you can try.

Check if anyone else is having the same problem

Look at the issues (link above) that have been reported, and the comments at CurseForge to see if anyone else has reported the same problem. If they have it's probably a bug in LiteMount.

Reinstall LiteMount

It's possible the addon install has become corrupted somehow. This is rare, but if you had your PC lock up or some kind of disk error it can happen.

If you are using the CurseForge updater you can right-click on the LiteMount entry and choose Reinstall, and then restart WoW.

Start and switch to a new profile

There could be something wrong with your LiteMount settings profile. (For example a common problem is that you have accidentally set the priority for all mounts to 0, disabled).

Try creating a new profile with the default settings from the profiles settings and see if it still has the error.

Turn on script errors

You can run /console scripterrors 1 in the chat to enable wow to report on any addon error messages, which are normally hidden. This might show up an error in LiteMount or in another addon.

You can turn it off again with /console scripterrors 0.

Delete the savedvariables file

Warning this will delete all your LiteMount settings and profiles with no undo

If you use the CurseForge updater, you can delete the settings file by (while you are logged out) right-clicking on the LiteMount line and choosing "Delete Settings (Saved Variables)".

Otherwise you will need to find the file and delete it, which will be in a folder X:/World of Warcraft Install Dir/retail/WTF/Account/ACCOUNTNAME/SavedVariables and called LiteMount.lua
